B.Tech Mechanical Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate degree program that involves the teaching of the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for designing, production and operations of machines. Mechanical engineering applies the principles of physics and material science for analysis, designing, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Mechanical engineering is the second largest engineering discipline and one of the oldest branch. Mechanical Engineering is often called the mother of all engineering. It covers a host of subjects i.e, Basic Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Graphics, Engineering materials, Structural design, Material processing, Manufacturing Science & Technology, Heat & Mass Transfer, Refrigeration and air Conditioning, industrial management, Robotics, Automation and much more.
Mechanical engineers apply the principles of mechanics and energy to the design of machines and devices.
Academics- Undergraduate
The B.Tech.in Mechanical Engineering is a comprehensive degree program. The goal of the mechanical engineering curriculum is to create a flexible undergraduate educational experience in design, mathematics, modelling, computing, management, engineering science, humanities, social sciences and fine arts.
