A National Webinar on “Mathematical Analysis of Air-Flow Cooling in Modern Data Centers” was organized by Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, SRGI, Jhansi on 29 June 2020 @ 2:30PM.
Under the umbrella of SR Group of Institutions, Mechanical Engineering Department has organized an Expert Lecture Session on most relevant topic “Advancement in Materials” on 26 Feb.2020 at MBA Seminar Hall at 11.00 am. The session started with gaiety and exuberance by lightening of the knowledge lamp by the Chief Guest of the event Dr. Brijesh Gangil along with Dean Academics Affairs & other department faculty & staff members.
The Keynote Speaker of the occasion was Dr. Brijesh Gangil, Associate Professor from S.O.E.T, HNB Central University, Srinagar, Garwal UK. He informed the students that Polymer Composites & Natural Composits have been widely adopted across industry sectors. One of the main attractions to composite materials is that they’re extremely lightweight, 30% lighter than aluminium and 25% the weight of steel. He emphasized that The durability of composite materials is also quite impressive. In particular, composites are able to withstand impacts that would normally destroy steel. This strength extends to their ability to resist damage from corrosion from chemicals such as acid rain that would otherwise damage alternative metals. He also focused on the different types of composites materials and their application areas.
He also give an very impressive knowledge about the Industry 4.0 & related issues. He also focused on the Resins, Jute, Kelvar, Coconut fiber, Boomboo fiber, Banana leaf, their properties & application areas.
Thereafter, there was a session of question and answers in which students asked many interesting questions from the speakers to satisfy their curiosity. The vote of thanks was proposed by Er.Jeetendra Mohan Khare, Head (Mechanical Engineering Department). On the occasion Dr.Vinod Kumar Singh , Dr.Ashish Kumar Gupta, Er.Shant Kumar jain, Er. Pushpendra Soni, Er. Shobhit Sharma, Er. Divya Kushwaha ,Mr. Krishnanad , Mr.Shivpal Singh were present.
The Department of Applied Sciences, SRGI conducted a one day workshop on ”LaTeX” on 10/02/2020 for teachers as well as students of SRGI and nearby government and private institutes. About 190 participants from SRGI and various institutes from Bangra, Banda, Jhansi, Kanpur, Prathvipur et.al., attended the workshop.
The objective of the workshop was to introduce LaTeX to the students and teachers for their technical writings like reports, articles, research papers, thesis, books, etc. The workshop would enhance the participants with their technical writing tools as per the international standards and demands.
Congratulations to all participants to make this event national seminar on “Emerging trends in agriculture and Biotechnology” successful which was conducted on 24th March 2017. The aim of this seminar was to inform and update the students about their future prospects and opportunities available in the field of Agriculture and Biotechnology.

This Seminar covered many aspects of different financial areas related with Demonetization and its impact on Indian economy, in international market, business, and social life of people etc. which helped not only in gaining knowledge about the facts and statistics of the impact of demonetization on Global & Indian market scenario but also in evaluating the market and industry after demonetization.

A three days workshop on “EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS “ was organized by SRGI in collaboration with AIMA , in the premises of S.R. group of institutions, Jhansi on 30th August 2017 to 1 September 2017.
